This began as part of the learning process for 3D Scan STL in St. Louis, MO. When 3D Scan STL started in 2001, there was a learning curve to becoming highly proficient with the Artec Eva handheld scanner. So we scanned what we had available. One of those items was an antique Crouse Hinds traffic light from the 1970’s since the owner had one on display. Over the years, there were several requests for the stl file or to buy complete signals. 

Flash forward to today (2025) and production of the signals is now happening. With the resolution of resin printers now exceeding 12K, it’s possible to print these in scale with all of the details of the originals. We are starting with the type M series from Crouse Hinds since that we originally scanned. As sales grow, we will begin scanning other signals and reverse engineering them into CAD so they can be scaled and printed as well.
